Bound and Unbound: A paranormal novella duology

by Scarlett St
Isolde has traded her crown and her kingdom for a love that defies the boundaries between mortal and monster. As the newly coronated queen of the vampire king Adrian, her world is far from the fairy tale she envisioned. Stripped of her father and forced into the treacherous heart of Revekka, she finds herself a pawn in a divine game orchestrated by warring goddesses. With the Red Palace teeming with political vultures and a lethal blood mist descending upon Cordova, every alliance feels like a potential betrayal.
This gripping sequel masterfully blends high-stakes dark fantasy with the intense, smoldering passion of a paranormal romance. Scarlett St. Clair leans heavily into the royalty trope, exploring the heavy toll that power takes on a relationship forged in blood. As Isolde struggles to navigate the complexities of her new life, she must confront the harrowing secrets buried in Adrian’s past, forcing her to decide if their bond is strong enough to withstand the truth.
For readers who crave a story where forbidden love meets epic world-building, this installment is an addictive journey. It is a tale of sacrifice and survival, perfect for those who want their romance served with a side of dangerous intrigue and immortal stakes.

Scarlett St. Clair’s King of Battle and Blood series is a spellbinding two-part journey filled with passion, betrayal, and power. From the very first chapter, I was hooked. The story blends high fantasy with sizzling romance, creating a world that feels both dangerous and intoxicating. Their enemies-to-lovers dynamic is fierce and addictive, and the chemistry between them practically burns off the page. The political intrigue and battles are thrilling, but what makes the book truly...

4⭐️ 3🌶️ I finished the audiobook about an hour ago and I’m still feeling a little shell shocked. I loved this book so much, I love these characters so much! Scarlett does such an amazing job of writing characters I care deeply about. I have become so invested in Isolde and Adrian’s relationship and I was so excited to read about how things would change now that she wasn’t fighting her attraction to him and embraced their relationship. I love Isolde, her fighting spirit, and her eagerness to...

This book completely blew away all the assumptions I had about the characters and even the plot. This one really discussed deeper issues and trauma but it brought so much more depth. Definitely have no idea what happens next. )

I was really excited for the second book and I really didn’t know what to expect. I found myself feeling anxious, confused and frustrated throughout the book. I will be rereading and listening to the audiobook because I definitely want to give it another shot. I thought it was beautifully written, as are all of her books. Maybe it was just the format of the Kindle book but I had a hard time with the transitions between dreams, flashbacks, etc. I just kept getting confused with what was...
