This is an exciting conclusion to the Crimson Sails trilogy. While each book features a different couple, there are plenty of ongoing plot threads that come to fruition in this final installment. I wouldn’t recommend reading them out of order, there’s a lot you’ll miss! The elemental magic-wielding captain NBiMC must rescue their former lover, the noble MMC, who is now the current boyfriend of the rebel leader and shifter FMC. In Rebel in the Deep by Katee Roberts, the story is full of swashbuckling action and steamy love scenes that wraps up her Crimson Sails trilogy with an engaging conclusion. One of the aspects I really liked is that we get the perspectives of all three of the characters, Nox, Bastian and Siobhan as they struggle with the relationship between the three and handle the final stages of the rebellion. That choice allows the reader to get to know all three of the characters and understand them better....
