Grizelda Zelda Watson thought she was done with the supernatural drama. After fleeing to sunny California to leave her past as a reformed witch behind, she wants nothing more than a quiet life away from the undead. That dream vanishes the moment Peter Elliott arrives on her doorstep. He is a tall, surly, and undeniably gorgeous vampire suffering from total amnesia, possessing nothing but a mysterious journal and a letter from an old friend that forces Zelda to break her own rules.
What begins as a reluctant favor quickly spirals into a high-stakes cross-country road trip. As they decode Peter’s cryptic past, the forced proximity inevitably sparks a simmering tension that is as dangerous as it is irresistible. Between the grumpy vampire, the sunshine-seeking witch, and the undeniable chemistry brewing in the passenger seat, their journey becomes a race to uncover buried secrets before their pasts catch up to them.
Blending witty banter with supernatural stakes, this paranormal romance is the perfect cozy yet spicy escape for those who love fated connections and unlikely pairings. Whether you are a dedicated fan of the series or looking for a standalone adventure, this story offers a delightful mix of magic, mystery, and heart.

*spoilers in this review* This book had such a promising start. In fact, up until roughly 70%ish I was hooked and it was an obvious favourite book of the series. And then the confrontation happened, and then it was like the author realised they hadn't reached a word count or something. Because the breakdown of the relationship was beyond ridiculous. Zelda had been reasonable about Peter's potential past before that. Admitting mistakes she made on the past even killed some vampires. But him...

Such a good and fun read! If you enjoy standalone, paranormal romance books, this is one you can definitely relax and cozy up into. I’ve read Jenna’s other two My Vampire books, and I think this one is my favorite. Already pre-ordered her new book coming out. Quickly becoming a favorite. )

It was an enjoyable read, but it wasn't as great as the previous ones in this series. Overall the series was a good one and those covers are amazing. )

I really liked these books, the first one really had me with the notes back and forth and I like that she continues that cheekiness in all 3. I think Zelda is a cool character and it has a fun story arch with some unexpected twists and of course we needed Reggie there because he is obviously the most delightful vampire we all adore. I read a ton of these types of books and I do flip past the spicy scenes, I just don’t think they are necessary in that detail and perpetuating some stereotypes and...

This was such a great book! I started the series with Reggie’s story, and backtracked to Fredrick’s. I wasn’t sure I’d care about Zelda’s book, but I’m so thrilled I decided to pick it up. These books have something I crave—some silliness, some escape. I found exactly what I needed with this book. Zelda and Peter’s stories were fantastic, and I loved the way they came together throughout the story and especially at the end. So glad Reggie came back for this one, and I’m sad to see the series...
