Bound and Unbound: A paranormal novella duology

by Holly Roberds
The neon lights of Las Vegas hide a darkness far more lethal than the mob. Vivien has spent a lifetime guarding her heart, but when your lover is the literal god of death, keeping your distance becomes impossible. As the final installment of the Vegas Immortals trilogy, this story pushes the boundaries of a high-stakes paranormal romance, forcing Vivien to confront her deepest fears to save the man who owns her soul.
This gritty, supernatural series masterfully weaves a slow-burn tension that finally ignites into an inferno. Vivien is not your typical damsel; she is sharp, witty, and fiercely protective of her found family. Her quest to track down a legendary blade capable of killing a deity is an act of devotion, proving that even a vampire can find a reason to fight for forever. The chemistry between her and Grim is electric, grounding the celestial stakes in a raw, emotional reality.
If you crave a world where gods walk among us and love is a dangerous gamble, this trilogy is your next obsession. Holly Roberds delivers an epic conclusion that balances heart-wrenching action with the fierce, unwavering loyalty of an unconventional family. Prepare for a final showdown where the odds are stacked against them, and every moment counts.

This one was rough for me. Some things I loved about the series overall: -the author leaves lots of breadcrumbs and trails that could be picked up in other spin-off books. Nothing too dramatic that feels unresolved, just enough to be like “ooh, wonder what’s down that path…” -Vivien is a CHARACTER and she stays in character!! Even when you hate her for it, she’s true to her personality and that takes TALENTED AUTHORS to do. Well done! Now for this book in particular: The beginning felt a little...

Loved this series. The main female character is smart, witty, and a no holds barred type of girl. The main male character is the kind of man any woman would want in her life. All the characters are very well written. I loved them all!! There are a few surprises through out the story that are fairly unexpected. Tons of action, a little mystery, and a tinge of romance coupled with a tinge of smut. I read all three books in just a couple of days. They were so good, now I have to go and find some...

I have adored Vivien and Grim and the entire mob of characters in this series. The humans, the gods, the vamps, the animals: they've all been superbly written by Holly. There were the biggest stakes in this book, of course, and an amazing HEA. I was sad Vivien and Grim's series is done, but Holly being Holly, she cannot stay away from the world's she's created. The Beast duet is next! )

I can’t express just how much I loved this Series. Seduced by Death was a Great ending to the Trilogy, I’m so sad that it’s come to an end. I could seriously stay lost in this book world forever! In this book we started off full of adrenaline, with some kicka33 scenes and one of our ships is finally blooming!! But I have to say at about 50% in I was completely sideblinded. I never say that coming, and at first I didn’t believe it was real. When the truth finally set in, I was absolutely...

The Vegas Immortals series is fantastic. Roberds doesn't disappoint. The vampire and Egyptian gods storyline is so well developed and the characters bring on all the feels. These books have humor, adventure and suspense. I, personally, am not a big fan of series books. Often time authors don't seem to know when to end the series, BUT Holly Roberds has perfected the art! This series delivers without having to go further than three books, which to me is perfection! You won't be disappointed. )
