Bound and Unbound: A paranormal novella duology
Ali Hazelwood
by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Poppy Balfour has spent her life being defined by others, but now she must define herself as the true ruler of Atlantia. As the Chosen, she carries the blood of the King of Gods, a secret that makes her both the most powerful being in the realm and the primary target for those who fear her ascension. Alongside Prince Casteel, she must navigate a treacherous journey to rescue their kin, only to realize that holding the throne requires more than just royal blood; it demands a sacrifice of her very soul.
This installment of the blockbuster Blood and Ash series leans deep into the high-stakes world of urban fantasy, where vampires and ancient deities clash in a fight for supremacy. The chemistry between Poppy and Casteel continues to smolder, perfectly executing the enemies-to-lovers dynamic as they shift from reluctant allies to heartmates. Their slow-burn connection is tested by betrayal, war, and the heavy weight of a crown that threatens to crush everything they have built together.
With political intrigue, shocking revelations, and a battle for the fate of two kingdoms, this is a must-read for fans of paranormal romance. As long-forgotten powers awaken, Poppy must decide if she will embrace her dangerous destiny or let her world burn to ash.

4.5 stars! This is book three of the “Blood and Ash” series and can not be read as a stand alone. WOW!! That ending was perfection. I absolutely love how this series is growing. The secrets unfolding are so much fun. I love Poppy and Casteel so very much but I think they get to be a little much. I’m still a die hard Kieran fan. And now the Gods, what is a girl gonna do with herself. This book gives you action, spice, humor, tragedy, twists, and so much more. Even just watching Poppy learn her...

I can’t get enough of this series. So addicted to the characters and storyline. Like I’ve stated in my other reviews if you love Sarah Maas’s books, you will love Jennifer’s. In fact Sarah Maas recommended this series and I can see why. Do yourself a favor and read this series )
