Keira’s nightmare is far from over. After narrowly escaping her mortal life, she finds herself thrust into a dangerous supernatural underworld where she is no longer the hunter, but the prey. As a vulnerable newborn vampire, she must navigate a treacherous web of ancient politics and lethal threats that seek to destroy her. Every shadow holds a risk, and every step brings her closer to a confrontation with the world’s most powerful beings.
At the center of this chaos is the magnetic and possessive Dominic Draven. As the king of the Afterlife, his claim over Keira is absolute, and his protective instincts are as terrifying as they are intoxicating. While Keira struggles to adapt to her new existence, she discovers that being the obsession of a vampire king is a double-edged sword. She is caught between the man who haunts her dreams and the hunters determined to tear her away from his side.
This intense paranormal romance delivers a high-stakes journey filled with dark passion and relentless suspense. If you are looking for an addictive read that explores the complexities of a supernatural bond pushed to its limits, the Afterlife saga is your next obsession. First of all after reading the first book, I didn't think the next book, The Two Kings, would be as good. So wrong!! Outstanding is all I can say. This book takes u even beyond superb!! I don't know how I am going to wait till the third book comes out. This is writing at its best. Never thought I would like vampire, demon stories but this story is so great - you can believe it would really happen. In my mind I know what each character looks like in my mind and when u think about these 2 books...

Ok.... So this book definitely keeps you on your toes. When things seem like they are finally about to calm down everything just heats back up again! It is impossible not to get caught up in everything going on and even more so not to wonder if Keira and Draven will ever catch a break. Jack ends up surprising me as well as how Dominic ends up actually being decent about him (I am trying to to give too much away) but at the same time Jack really pisses me off in this book for a little while and...

There is a warning at the beginning of this book for mature content. I do feel like this book gives us a great perspective on all Kiera's thoughts but not so much on anyone else. Draven and Kiera pick io where the last book left off. This book gets steamy very quickly. This book moves into a lot of stories, some religious and some ancient. We find more about Lucius, the vampire king. I love how the author brings her human things into this story, and we get to watch the reaction of the very...

Okay, I thought I was gonna start this review by ranting about my dislike for Keira but I decided to start out with... HOLY CLIFFHANGER! I need to know who the traitor is, like right now! I am dying! This installment in the Afterlife Saga has made me an addict and my addiction is this series! The first book I was iffy about but this one has me sold. It was so much better than the first installment and definitely kept me on the edge of my seat THE WHOLE TIME. It had action, drama, and toe...

The Two Kings continues the intense romance between Dominic and Kiera begun in Afterlife, and the bonding that seems to be inevitable. I wasn't too sure what to expect from a relationship between a Demon/Angel and a Human, especially when they're separated by centuries and power. The power dynamic shifts from one to the other so often, it practically gives you whiplash, and is off-set by frequent and explicit bouts of intimacy. Add in fascinating characters such as Dominic's nemesis Lucius and...
