Bound and Unbound: A paranormal novella duology

Sage Herriman’s life was defined by monotony until a mysterious flash of blue light shattered her reality. As a college senior just trying to survive her shifts, she never expected to be thrust into a hidden supernatural war. Suddenly bound to Silas, a five-hundred-year-old vampire who has spent centuries searching for his partner, Sage finds herself labeled his ley socium. This fated-mates connection is as impossible to ignore as it is dangerous, dragging her into an elite world where she is the ultimate prize.
This dark paranormal romance masterfully blends high-stakes action with intense, possessive chemistry. Silas is the quintessential alpha-hero: ruthless, protective, and hungry for more than just blood. As a vampire hunter with a target on her back, Sage must navigate the treacherous politics of an academy setting while resisting the magnetic pull of a man who refuses to share what he claims. The fae are watching, and they are willing to kill to possess the power Sage holds within her.
If you crave a story where supernatural intrigue meets scorching, high-tension romance, this series opener is your next obsession. Devon Atwood delivers a gripping tale of loyalty, forbidden desire, and the dark consequences of being chosen.

Thank you Devon Atwood for the opportunity to read as an ARC reader. My review is voluntary and an honest review. Wow 🤩 is what first comes to mind. When I first heard about the book it had already caught my attention. I’m a huge paranormal/shifter/fae/etc type reader and had a feeling this was going to be GREAT! This is the first time ever reading a book from Devon and it DID NOT disappoint! Vampire x Human Age gap ( 500 yr old Vampire x College Student ) Fated Mates Forced proximity...

overall, this was a 3.5 star read rounded up to a 4 for me. Sage has always been a bit of a loner... unhappily following in the footsteps of her mother, never been in a relationship, and often ignored by the people around her. at this point, she's just trying to finish up college. but all of that changes when she meets Silas- her vampire mate. suddenly, she's thrust into a cohort of vampire brothers who love and care for her deeply. BUT- there's danger lurking just around the corner in this...

So I knew Devon was going to bring the heat AND the funny, because that is the hallmark of her work, but when I say that she topped herself this time, I’m not kidding. I got this book as an ARC and immediately ended up in the hospital, which means that this review is desperately late, but it’s 1:00AM, I’ve just finished it in one sitting, I’ve still got an IV in, but I have GOT to tell you to go read this book! Silas and Sage are perfect for each other from the get go…fated mates and fae magic...

This book was so much fun to read! We meet Sage having a nosebleed! She's at the bottom of the list of reporters for the school paper. She gets assigned at the last minute to a soccer scrimmage wiht a photographer Marcus. She experiences a flash of white light - and finds herself \"kidnapped\" by Silas and his cohort.Silas is a vampire and was at the scrimmage to find his ley socium (his fated mate). No vampire has found their mate in 83 years so this is a big deal! Silas has no idea how to...

This was such a good read for me! From the first page it had me hooked with this line: \"To the ones with stars in their eyes and vampires in their hearts. You’re cute, but you’re filthy.\" Only to have me laughing and really relating to the main character, Sage, with this reaction to finding herself meeting Silas, a vampire, for the first time \"He crooked a finger and motioned for me to come to him. And for some psychotic reason, I did.\" The story follows Sage, a college student who has...
