Amber Benson moved to Manhattan seeking a fresh start, but she found a destiny written in blood instead. After a brush with soul-sucking monsters, she discovers her life as a human was a lie. She is actually a powerful warrior chosen by the sun goddess, thrust into a lethal supernatural war zone where ancient vampire courts hold the balance of power.
Her survival hinges on a forced alliance with Damien, a magnetic and infuriating vampire king. He claims she is his destined queen, demanding an arranged marriage to secure their future and her protection. Trapped in a world of brutal magic and academy-style training, Amber must navigate the treacherous politics of the undead while resisting the man who claims her soul.

An outstanding series. I love reading box series. Great characters in a world we’ve been in before. Brought back characters from other series. Looking forward to the next series. ) One person found this helpful

It was kind of boring. I actually ended up wanting her to be with the shadow Lord than with Damien. Mmc was dry character for me. I honestly didn't feel the attraction between the characters and there was so little true interactions of meaning that it made it worse. I pushed through because I wanted to know the ending. It's time I'll never get back. The multiple point of views was to much it should of just been her and mmc. It just got to be like it was to much back and forth to me. )

I really enjoyed this series of books, they were very well written. The author keeps you totally invested in the characters and how they interact with each other and the other characters they come alive throughout the series. I highly recommend this series of books )
