Cute cover, beautiful design, but not exactly as pictured. The title is the same color as the pink in the rest on the cover, not lighter, and it was not packaged in a way that kept it safe, so it also arrived with slight spine damage. The front cover was still pretty so I decided since shipping takes several weeks I'd just keep it. )
Above all, this collection of poems and prose extracts on a theme will show you what you didn't know you didn't know about literary vampires, werewolves, ghosts, witches and banshees. There are glimpses here of the immortal heavy hitters - Dracula, Carmilla, and the like. But the best value comes from reading gothic poems or extracts with which you're entirely unfamiliar, which gives you a real sense of how widespread the preoccupation has been. )
