Twenty-nine-year-old Nora Cameron feels like her life is stuck on repeat until a trip to Scotland turns her predictable world upside down. Following the trail of her grandmother’s wartime journals, she discovers a mysterious red book hidden in an Edinburgh shop. Her curiosity triggers a sudden, unnatural blizzard that leaves her trapped in a remote Highland cabin with Alistair, a surly journalist who is as infuriating as he is handsome.
This enchanting paranormal romance masterfully blends forced-proximity tension with the raw power of elemental magic. As the snow piles up and the temperature drops, Nora realizes the strange occurrences around them are anything but accidental. She must decipher the ancient spells within her book to survive the freezing elements while battling the undeniable attraction growing between her and Alistair.
The deeper Nora digs into her family’s secret history, the more she understands that she is not just reading about magic; she is living it. If you crave a cozy winter read that balances atmospheric mystery with simmering chemistry, this journey into the heart of Scottish lore is your next obsession. Prepare to be swept away by a story where ancient secrets and modern hearts collide amidst the swirling Highland snow.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book and did not want it to end! This is my first book by Jessica Dodge, but it will not be my last. I feel like this story was written just for me was it has ALL the elements I love.......history, magical, witchy, mystery and romance set in wintery Scotland. I had a feeling it would be the perfect book for me and it did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed how the author told the story weaving dual timelines that flowed smoothly. The writing is beautiful with...

I actually quite enjoyed this one even though there were a few things that really annoyed me. First off, the protagonist had never been out of the country before, yet she was able to take an impromptu trip to Scotland without there ever being mention of a passport? Then, I’ve been to Great Britain and anybody else who has understands that traditional coffee makers are not a thing in hotel rooms, vacation rentals, etc.. A good majority of people (and hotel rooms, vacation apartments, etc.) in GB...

I loved love loved The Book of Lost Enchantments and I can’t wait for you all to read! To be honest I think this came to me at a perfect time. I have been going through a lot of craziness in my life with trying to figure out what I want to do next and this book was perfect to help! Jessica’s book is full of wonderful and definitely relatable characters who in the end just want the best for each other and for themselves. Her story was magical and her writing was truly masterful. I could see...

This third book, with slightly familiar storylines and a crossover character, is a good read. It starts similarly to The Forgotten Witch and Misplaced Magic but has enough differences that it seems to be a loosely connected \"series\", not a \"rewrite\". It is a good story with romance, a dog, a bit of magic, and an acceptable ending. ) One person found this helpful
