Such a great read and endlessly entertaining! The plot has become more and more enthralling and I literally cannot wait for the last book in the trilogy to come out!! )

I'm very much looking forward to the conclusion of this trilogy! A witch, the Dark God, and a half-fae prince - and dragons!!! Can't ask for much more. I loved the characters, the plot twists, and the 'spice'. Altogether, a fun read and escape. )

I dove into this book excited after how strong book 1 was. We jump right back in where we left off and with the added past POVs with the present helped connect all the moving pieces together. While the trial itself took a backseat, we got thrown deeper into the world of court politics, scheming and manipulation. My biggest issue was the pacing and writing style. So much was constantly happening and the writing got a bit confusing, that I found myself losing interest in the outcome altogether....

Koryn struggled to find out who she can trust and how far others were willing to go to help her survive. We learned a lot more about Garrick’s background in this book and the events that led up to them finding each other at the gates. The Dark God and Garrick joined forces to help Koryn, yet found themselves growing closer at the same time. It surprised me how seamlessly this MMF trio fit together.
