Okay, well, I almost stopped reading this. That would've been a big loss on my part! Stick with it! I was afraid bullying might be a theme here, it was NOT! The location is great, the characters find their feet and and become well established in this tale. I like the varied paranormal and friendships being established. I really don't understand why there aren't more likes and reviews. )

The story is exciting and suspenseful. It flows easily from beginning to end with plenty of surprises along the way. And a great set of characters. Morgan Monroe - smart, strong and determined; Detective Rafael Delacroix - grounded and insightful; Adrian Cross - narcissistic, funny and sarcastic; Isabella Cruz - bold; entertaining and clever. I really enjoyed getting to know them. The supporting characters were great for the story, some I even loved to hate. Cal, Derek and Darnell work well...
