Gabriel thought he had his life figured out as a dedicated teacher, but he never planned on accidentally summoning an Infernal King of Hell. When Asmodeus, the Prince of Lust, appears in his living room, he refuses to leave. Instead, the powerful demon decides to shadow Gabe like a devoted stray, fascinated by the fact that he is completely immune to his supernatural allure. This unexpected partnership turns Gabe’s orderly world into a chaotic, heavenly-adjacent mess.
As they navigate the bureaucratic underworld and meddlesome family dynamics, the dynamic between them shifts. Asmodeus takes a keen interest in helping Gabe explore his own sexuality, and what begins as a forced summons quickly evolves into a complex, scorching connection. The Prince of Lust is determined to prove that keeping a demon around is the perfect life plan, while Gabe struggles to keep his composure in the face of such relentless, otherworldly obsession.
Blending the high-stakes intrigue of a paranormal academy setting with the forbidden allure of royal demonic status, this story is a delightful romp through the afterlife. Fans of witty banter, angelic lore, and slow-burn romance will find this tale impossible to put down. Dive into a world where free will meets supernatural temptation, and discover why some mistakes are worth making.

I love it when I find a book or series that completely captivates me and makes me smile - and this series has done just that. I literally read the last line and sighed, while smiling like crazy! Shannon Mae writes in a very easy going style. She uses humor and sarcasm and sweetness and it's all rolled into this amazing story that transports you into a world of their creation - a world where demons and angels and mortals intersect in unexpected and interesting ways. I absolutely loved Az and...

This book cover and its 10 different art and font styles fascinates me. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it. Amazing. I liked this protagonist more than the last book. Gabe was a sweetie, and the Incubus/demisexual pairing was fun. I felt like I learned more about gray sexuality from it. I’m not sure I’m ready for the next book. I don’t think I can do a whole book of a demon going “bruh” over and over. 3-4/5 spice 1/5 angst )

Did I mention the tails? Because they deserve the all the attention! These books are absolutely delightful. Az and Gabe are another great couple, I’d love to see them hanging out with Minos and Adam from book one. I really like how the author is able to work in other “divine”, and not so divine, figures. While the books are completely satisfying there are so many little tidbits that I’m dying to learn more about! So I’m left wanting more in the best way. Especially because I can tell these...

This book completely took me by surprise. I got about half-way through the previous book before I stopped because I just wasn’t connecting with the characters. This book was the opposite — the premise is very funny and grabbed me immediately, the characters were very relatable, and I could feel the chemistry. Very well done and recommendation-worthy book )
