I found this next step in the story of Jade and Kane interesting. I love following their story and how everyone keeps coming after Jade because of her blessed gift. It was interesting to see who was doing the crimes against both Jade and Kane and who final falls. If you follow this series you will love this story and if you have not read any of the other books before this you maybe lost. I've read all the books leading up to this one and can say without a doubt they just keep getting better and better! Jade and Kane never have a \"normal\" time of things and Bewitched on Bourbon Street is no different. The amount of deceit and betrayal in this series is unreal. I've read probably 50 books since I read the penultimate book in this series. I will also say that I have the worst memory. However, the characters are so likable and engaging that I was able to fall right back in with no problems. The book flows well, reminds you gently of what's been happening, and leaves you wanting more. I love that each chapter alternates narrators! I also loved that it really focused on Kane and Jade with not many side stories. I can't wait for Deanna Chase's next book. )

Jade Calhoun and her co-horts in this series are a joy to read about! If you have not read any of the Jade Calhoun books, I would start with book 1 because they are great books. Deanna Chase also has the Pyper Rayne series which has book one out so far and is also an awesome book. Another amazing series by Deanna is The Crescent City Fae series. You can't go wrong with any of these series! )
