I actually began reading book five first because the cover caught my eye. I got halfway through and stopped because I wanted to read the books that lead up to that prequel. I like that the fifth book is a prequel because it does answer a lot of questions, but at the same time, it provides too many answers to things that the characters in this first book don't know.
