Faith Revisited (The Watchers) (Volume 1)

by Madelyn Ford

About this book

Bale is a fallen Grigori angel bound by a centuries-old vow and a desperate need for redemption. Tasked with protecting humanity from Lucifer’s demonic offspring, he has spent lifetimes keeping his distance. But when he crosses paths with Faith Magee, a vampire undergoing a premature and dangerous transfiguration, his ironclad resolve begins to crumble. The pull between them is undeniable, yet Bale fears that claiming his fated mate will only paint a target on her back, especially when a traitorous member of his own brotherhood is hunting them from the shadows.

For Faith, the stakes are life and death. Trapped in a agonizing transformation and tethered to a man who seems determined to push her away, she faces an impossible choice. Because Bale’s blood is the only thing that sustains her, she is forced into a volatile bond with an alpha warrior who is as protective as he is conflicted.

Perfect for fans of J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood, this paranormal romance delivers high-stakes action, supernatural intensity, and a slow-burn tension that simmers on every page. If you crave stories featuring brooding warriors and strong-willed heroines caught in a celestial war, this series opener is your next obsession.

REMINDS ME OF J R WARD'S BOOKS

June 28, 2010

Since you can find out what the story is about by reading the product description I'm not going to go into that here. I'm just going to tell you what I thought of the story: I really enjoyed it. It was well written and reminded me a lot of J R Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I will definetly be watching for more of this author's The Watcher series. If I had to pick a negative point it would only be that it maybe reminded me of Ward's series a little too much, but since I love her books...

Not the BDB - but not bad

January 5, 2012

This was actually not that bad of a read - it's not as polished or developed as the Black Dagger Brotherhood series but it does have; Supernatual Bad Boys - all Alpha & protective Females that are not wimpy and capable of handling said \"Bad Boys\" Interesting world building The Grigori brethren will remind you of the BDB Good romance and action scenes Now for the Bad: It almost reminds you too much of the BDB characters - but not as developed or as polished. Since it does resemble the BDB...

Loved it

This is the first book in The Watchers series. You really need to start with this book and read the books in order. I just finished the most recently written book, and I am dying for the next one to come out. There are some great spicy parts thrown in as well, which just adds to the greatness. )

Love It!!

After reading My Avenging Angel, one of the reviews suggested to read Faith Revisited. Am I glad I took that advice. The book was perfectly well rounded. You have a mix of hotty men and tough as nails women. Enough romance and fighting to balance each other out. Can't wait for the next book in the series. Even more excited about Zeke and Hope's story. )
