I am so drawn to these books because of the great sex scenes but also because I like the characters and would want to be friends with them all. Another great entry in the Brides of the Kindred series. As usual we start from a point not to far removed from the end of the previous book. We have multiple POV and multiple stories going on which are directly related to what is happening. The stories have a natural progression and always seem to bring just a little bit of something new each time....

This is, hands down, my favorite book so far in this series. And I’ll tell you why. As mentioned in some of the less favorable reviews, the other Kindred brides were flawed and weak, having to overcome their own issues before they accepted the bonding with their Kindred males. There was a lot of drama, see-sawing back and forth, which makes a good story, but can be a bit drawn out, like with Lauren and Xairn. But, with Nadiah and Rast, it was the total opposite. This is hands down the best of the series and my favorite so far. The couple, Nadiah and Rast, were both introduced in earlier books. Nadiah is the cousin of Sylvan the Blood Kindred warrior of book two. Even as a young girl in book two she is fair, strong-minded, and doesn't share the prejudices of her parents against Tranq Prime descendants who are not of a \"pure\" Tranq Prime bloodline. She greatly admires her Kindred cousin and wants to marry a Kindred warrior of her own someday....

Evangeline Anderson is absolutely spectacular..completely out of this word! This book is just outstanding, the character development,the plot and overall flow is superlative!
