Ruined Kingdom (Gothic Grove Book 4)

by JA George

About this book

The gates of hell are swinging wide, and the stakes for the inhabitants of Gothic Grove have never been higher. As Jackson struggles to salvage his crumbling throne and mend the shattered remnants of his family, he finds himself caught in a perilous tug-of-war between duty and desire. Haunted by betrayal and the relentless whispers of his own insecurities, he must prove that he is a king worth fighting for before his kingdom—and his heart—are reduced to ash.

This intense installment in the beloved angel paranormal romance series masterfully weaves together the fated-mates trope with high-stakes royal drama. As Jackson navigates the volatile chemistry with his complicated partners, the tension reaches a fever pitch. Between the primal pull of a wolf’s hunger and the dangerous allure of a reaper, the boundaries between hunter and prey blur, leaving every character questioning if their bond is a salvation or a death sentence.

Fans of the series are calling this the most emotional chapter yet, praising the deep character development and the heart-wrenching journey of its lead. If you crave a dark, addictive read where royalty, celestial beings, and forbidden connections collide, this is your next obsession. Prepare to be consumed.

Couldn’t put it down

January 19, 2025

This is my favorite book in the Gothic Grove series. I loved reading all of the different character POVs and getting deeper into the plot of this series. I honestly don’t want to say too much because I worry about spoilers since you need to read the series in order. Harrowlena was my favorite POV to read. I really feel for her journey, and as much as she would frustrate me at times, I love her so much and I’m really hoping she gets to work through all that she’s been through. What I really want...

The final showdown… Or is it?

January 17, 2025

All of our characters come back together in this most recent installment of the Gothic Grove series, however, the story is particularly focused on Harrowlena. Harrow is put through the absolute ringer! I had so much empathy and frustration for her because she’s really just taken advantage of and manipulated so deeply. She has completely become a puppet for Oisin. Even when faced with facts and examples, she still just cannot let go of this man. By the end of this book, I was sobbing. I have...

What a smash!!

I am obsessed with this series! I was unprepared for how emotionally attached I would get to Jax! I sobbed for him and his mates. I swear he is top tier, up there with Shadow! This book in the series was action packed and spicy as all get out! I am blown away by these characters. Honestly right up my alley. Scratches all the itches in my brain. Highly recommend this series if you are into dark paranormal fantasies. This series has it all for you. Of course check trigger warnings because your...

that was a lot

I’ve binged this series over the last 2 weeks. And my honest review was they are a lot. You can tell the author has a bigger plan in place as you’re reading the books. There are character you can tell have their own stories and we don’t know them, but the author does. The world is created with that in mind, just like real life, you don’t know everyone’s story. Overall, I would recommend the series. Interested to see what happens next. )

Beautifully gut wrenching read

If there's one thing I know, it's that Jac's side characters will always have me in chokehold and catch me by surprise. I fully anticipated all the great development between Jax, Dios, and Arcanna... But my love for Harrow and Luz was the shining factor. Harrow's story is so deeply rooted in the relentless trauma and her trying to discover who she really is outside of the abuse she experienced that I couldn't help but feel for her. She is troubled, makes horrible mistakes and I can't help but...
