I adored this book! The plot kept me guessing the whole way through, and there’s a lot of great character development that made me fall even more in love with them all! Especially Alistair - I loved getting to know him more. Each of the MCs feel like their own person with a distinct voice, which is hard to come by for this genre. And Celine remains the badass, hard exterior but soft hearted heroine I’m always looking for. It’s a must read! ) One person found this helpful

Holy hell that cliffhanger!! I can't wait for the audiobook of book 3 to know what happens next! 😍 If you read her other series called Lost Legacy then you will have more details about the action involving the enclave and the djinn but it is not necessary to understand this book. I personally binged her other series with the audiobooks and ebooks and loved it. However I like even more our FMC Celine since she is so damn bada$$!! I am so excited to know more about our new MMC (an angel) that...

This one really has me on the edge of my seat. I'm losing it for book three. I love all these guys. They're so compelling. Alistair will forever be my number one of course. Celine is an amazing FMC-I love that she's tough and take no prisoners but is still a decent person. I feel like it's going to get worse for them all before it gets better....but I don't want off the ride! )
