by Emma Karolina
Waking up in a morgue with no memory and a celestial duty to save humanity is a baptism by fire that no angel is prepared for. Thrust into a crumbling city where brutal demon hordes feast on the innocent, she must navigate a world where reality is fracturing. Plagued by sinister visions and a growing darkness in her own mind, she is fighting a war on two fronts: one against the monsters in the shadows and one against the secrets buried in her own soul.
The stakes skyrocket when she crosses paths with an enigmatic warrior whose moody hazel eyes threaten to distract her from her mission. As the lines between duty and desire blur, their connection becomes a dangerous tether in a landscape stained by horror and endless rain. This is a high-octane dark romance where the fate of the world hangs in the balance, and every interaction crackles with forbidden tension.
If you are craving a paranormal romance that perfectly blends visceral, high-stakes battle sequences with an addictive slow-burn attraction, this journey is for you. Dive into a gritty, atmospheric nightmare where love is the only thing more volatile than the war for survival.

Sometimes you read a book & it just grabs you from the start. You can tell you're in for a great journey & you buckle in & say let's go! This book was that for me. Emma writes in a way that you feel like you're sitting in the story watching it from the front row living & feeling each page happen right in front of you. The story centers around a mysterious epic battle between angels & demons. You feel the stakes of this fight from the first chapter. We're introduced to Tesla a new female angel...

This book is really an amazing read. I knew this was going to be a good book from the opening page. The author drops us into a morgue. I remember thinking what good could come out of a morgue? In reality, everything. This book reminds of City of Bones. The author reminded of how much I enjoy urban fantasy with demons and angels. This book has epic battle scenes that are written in such a way that it seems like poetry. I swear to you that I felt like I was watching a dance. I love how the author...

This book was full of action and adventure from the beginning till the very end. I can't wait to see what will become of Tesla and Daniels connection in Shadows of Frost. I'm also desperate to know why they are so interested in Tesla, and how she differ so much from the others in her faction. Emma created a very well crafted and compelling world in Shadows of Dreams. This is definitely a must read for anyone who craves adventure, supernatural elements, rare story lines and a slow burning love...

Emma Karolina has a beautiful and poetic style of writing. The descriptions of the world were very beautiful and woven together with care, making it easy for me to picture certain scenes. This is something I really love in a book! There were some aspects of magic that I really liked, for example, the way the demons were exorcised (the descriptions were so good), Johnathan's power, and some characters' ability to enter the Void. Blythe really grew on me. I'm a fan of gentle giants and I found...

There’s something deeply captivating about stepping into a world where angels walk the earth achingly human in all ways that matter. That’s what Emma Karolina offers in Shadows of Dreams. The story follows Tesla, a newly incarnated angel thrown into a mission to protect humanity; only there’s no manual, no mentor, and no margin for error. She’s got to figure it out in real-time, and following her efforts is as frustrating as it is mesmerizing. Karolina’s prose has a lyrical quality that hums...
