Holy crap. This was such a fun mystery and I cannot wait for the next in the series— Willow is absolutely incredible, a black cat FMC to be sure. Complicated and flawed and still every bit as lovable. Warren is That Man, you know? What an amazing debut!! )

After her brother’s unalived, the FMC Willow dedicates her life to finding out what happened. Through this she becomes a detective and gets involved in solving a murder. This leads us to the MMC Warren who is not what he appears to be. I really enjoyed these two characters. This book has everything I love to read. There’s mystery, murders, paranormal characters and spicy times. Some of the twists came out of left field and I never quite knew where anything stood. I loved it. )
