Capturing Sin: A Paranormal Demon Romance (Playing with Demons Book 2)

by Sakura Black

About this book

She was raised to hunt his kind, but now she is the one being hunted by her own conscience. Tasked with running twisted experiments on a captive demon, she finds herself trapped in a dangerous game of forced proximity where the line between scientist and snack blurs. His bite is addictive, his gaze is lethal, and the hatred in his eyes is slowly morphing into a possessive hunger that threatens to consume her entirely.

This gripping dark romance plunges readers into the heart of hellish realms, where an alpha hero with sharp edges and even sharper fangs holds all the cards. When a botched experiment turns the tables, the monster becomes her unlikely savior, dragging her into a world where she is no longer the captor, but his designated prisoner. As they navigate a high-stakes enemies-to-lovers dance, she must hide a dark secret that could destroy everything.

If you are craving a paranormal romance packed with intense chemistry, clawed clutches, and a deliciously wicked hero, look no further. This installment of the Playing with Demons series delivers a pulse-pounding ride where the predator and prey are impossible to distinguish. Will she escape his grasp, or has she finally met her match?

I loved the second book as much as the first! Sakura Black does an amazing job of creating complex, distinct characters that you can really feel for and can't help but be invested in their journeys. Black's writing style is smooth with no weird jumps, spelling errors, or plot holes, and there's just as much plot as there is spice. I'm immediately moving on to book 3 for my next read! )

Review: Capturing Sin Stars: ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ “Capturing Sin” by Sakura Black is a gripping and intense tale that dives deep into the darker side of romance. Despite not having read the first book in this duology, I found myself thoroughly engrossed. The novel stands well on its own, providing enough context to keep new readers engaged without feeling lost. The premise is immediately intriguing: a scientist has a demon locked up in the name of research, driven by desperation and...
