I was so excited to jump back into this story after the cliffhanger at the end of the first book and let me tell you, I absolutely devoured it (no pun intended)! This book was action-packed and we finally learned more about Arabella’s parentage. I loved the role reversal of the FMC willing to burn down the world to protect and save the people she loves. I had been waiting for this book a lot, so getting an early ARC was a dream - finally, some relief for my curiosity! 🙈 Like Kissed By A Demon, the first 35–40% felt slow. There’s a lot of information tying this story back to the previous book - so much so that, with all these steps back, it could almost work as a standalone. But then? It hits.
