Crown Me Dead: A Dark Fantasy Romance (Heartstring Duet)

Spite is a powerful motivator, especially when it comes to dealing with an overbearing mother obsessed with grandchildren. When Miri decides to download Monstr, the dating app for the supernatural, she is looking for a little harmless fun and the chance to scandalize her family. She expects a few casual flings with devil-horned suitors, not a total upheaval of her love life. But when four scorching-hot demons flood her inbox with interest, Miri realizes she may have inadvertently summoned more than she can handle.
Set deep within the intoxicating allure of hell-realms, this paranormal romance leans into the playful side of the genre. It is a lighthearted, spicy romp that balances witty banter with intense chemistry. By shifting between multiple points of view, the story offers an intimate look at the chaos that ensues when a human woman tries to juggle four supernatural bachelors who are as dangerous as they are desirable.
If you are craving a funny, steamy escape, this installment of the Monster Match series delivers exactly what you need. It is the perfect blend of humor and heat, proving that sometimes the best matches aren’t made in heaven—they are downloaded straight from the depths of hell.

I absolutely love this book, this series actually. The banter and inner dialogue is hilarious. I think I grinned while reading the entire book. It needs an editor or the author needs to go back and re-read to correct the typos and grammatical mistakes. There are a ton of errors in it, but the story is good enough that I didn't care. ) 2 people found this helpful

Thank you, R. O’Leary, it is so good to be back in this spicy cozy storyverse with a variety of swoonworthy monsters and stepping stones to learning to love ourselves. I enjoyed the first book, although I will admit to wanting more actual groveling from the main male monsters; this second book included clearer on page communication which was greatly appreciated! This series with both books thus far remains a solid re-read choice for palate cleansing and/or good relationship and world building...

R O'Leary does it again combining her wonderful sense of humor with an action packed string of events. Four demons and a nagging mother make Mimi's life very interesting and very spicy. )
