It was a blast to read! 10/10!! There’s just something I can’t get enough of when it comes to the 80s - 90s arcades and pizza places. I’m obsessed. Being born in 1993 brings me both nostalgia I can clearly remember and the not so clear nostalgia that brings a sense of longing from deep within. It I just got into the habit of reading books, and this is the first I’ve read after years of only reading random fanfiction online. It’s not a long read but it doesn’t have to be - there’s no comparing...

Frankie's Funhouse by Beatrix Hollow is an animatronic horror romance. This is the 1980's supernatural prequel to the Umbra Valley series by Lux Oleander. This book can be read as a standalone. I can't help but binge Beatrix's books in one sitting. I enjoyed this book more than I thought I was going to. The relationship between Frankie and Ramona was really interesting. I would love to get an extended epilogue of them down the road. I can’t wait to read the next book set in this universe Meet...

Unhinged, Humorous and Horror filled

Didn't know I needed a horror romance. Involving a demonic possessed animatronic playing chainsaw massacre in a pizzeria set in the '80s but here we are. This was fantastically unhinged. Dark, funny and a little disturbing. This was quite the trip, and I enjoyed the entire ride. )
