Rhiannon, the main character, is so well developed in this book. I can definitely feel the emotions of a teenage girl navigating the world of family drama, teenage love, split loyalties and otherworldly magic. The other characters are equally real, although of a different world. There's just enough sexual tension for young readers, but nothing explicit or inappropriate. 3.5⭐️ - The concept for this YA paranormal romance was super intriguing, and I really wanted to love it. And I did enjoy it for the most part! Our FMC Rhiannon has been through a lot, and she gets sent to live with her grandmother. This felt like the right move for her as she also got to be back with her cousins who all seem to adore her. Finally! A true YA novel. Angels, demons, paranormal beings, oh my! Forbidden love triangle without the spice. Rhi, moves in with her Nan for the summer. Becca's writing flows magically on the pages. Such a great story and it has all the twist and turns one would want. Don't want to give anything away but the growth of the main characters is outstanding and has you feeling like you are right there with them.
