Guilty As Sin (The Accidental Exorcist Book 3)

by Jennifer Chance

About this book

Victory is never free, and for Delia, the cost of her latest supernatural triumph is a nightmare she never saw coming. Dragged before a ruthless tribunal to answer for her rule-breaking alliance with the demon Lucian, Delia finds herself fighting for more than just her freedom. The bond she shares with the man she was meant to hunt is deepening into something dangerous, blurring the lines between enemies-to-lovers tension and a soul-binding pact that neither can escape.

As the tribunal looms, the shadows of Delia’s past begin to surface with lethal precision. Secrets buried for fifteen years are clawing their way to the light, involving the mentor she once trusted and the dark truths she desperately tried to forget. With the police closing in and a vengeful demon hunting her from the periphery, Delia realizes that the monsters she was trained to destroy were merely a distraction from the true evil waiting in her own backyard.

This high-stakes paranormal romance masterfully balances intense demon-hunting action with a heart-pounding forbidden attraction. If you crave stories where the heroines are as flawed as the demons they fight, this series is your next obsession. Prepare for a gripping descent into darkness where the only thing more lethal than the truth is the desire that refuses to die.

Each book is better than the last!

May 20, 2026

I’m really loving this series and can honestly say that each book is better than the last! There’s a lot going on in this book and I stayed up way too late reading just one more chapter! Not only do Lucian and Delia have to stand and be judged by the Demon tribunal for their actions in the previous book, but the local police are treating Delia as a suspect in a recent death. There’s also an alluring, possibly haunted house, a friend of Steve’s that needs their help, and some pretty big...

Intriguing and captivating

Be ready for the complicated and stressing issue of the tribunal that Delia and Lucian have both been summoned for. Their possible outcomes are very concerning. While worrying about the upcoming trial and possible outcome(s), they now have a new client. Steve’s friend Grace has some issues that he feels needs the help of Delia, Clair and Lucian. While working towards helping Grace, a few new characters are introduced into the story. Angel, a cute but possessed Beagle, is found and Sandy, a new...

Wow, I just finished book 3 of the Accidental Exorcist and I’m shocked and pleasantly surprised by the ending. I have absolutely loved the interactions between the characters throughout this series. Claire is one of my favorites. I think there’s a twist coming about her quick friendship, but I could be wrong. I can’t wait to devour the next book in this series! I was a lucky recipient of an advanced reader copy of this story and I’m providing a personal opinion of my enjoyment of the book. )

It was a good ending kinda left it open for more or maybe a spin off series. I liked getting more info on Mordechai and Delia's relationship. Angel was a great, funny addition. )
