Can't get enough of this Demonica universe

4.5 stars I was really looking forward to this crossover story featuring 2 of my favorite series, and Declan and Suzanne definitely lived up to my expectations! Declan has always had almost superhuman skills when we have seen him in action in the past M&M stories, and now we finally get to find out why. Dec is Suzanne's assigned Primori- a human whose life is fated to have an important effect on the world in some way. When Declan is attacked by a demon and her warning system doesn't alert her...

It is good to visit other worlds.

I had to read this. I mean Declan! And having met Susanna in other books, she also made me curious. However, though I think I have read a book or two from the Demonica Underworld, it isn't really my thing. I enjoyed Declan and Susanna story well enough, but I did feel a bit outside the story. For the most part, everything was explained well enough so I wasn't completely lost, but I tend to be a reader who likes everyone's back story. Hence the outside feeling. I adored the comic book...

Angels vs demons, tasked with babysitting a rich socialite from a stalker Declan choose that over security detailing of his sperm donor who has never acknowledged his existence, Suzanne is a angel who has been protecting Declan, a clash with other worlds comes to life from comic books, past meets present, death and destruction, life vs death, good vs evil, OMG thrilling beyond belief, excitement challenges your faith, excellent story and spoiler alert the good guys win, thank you, Dana Zamora )

I haven't read any of Larissa Ione's books and I'm generally not interested in sci-fi/alternate world romance, but I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Ione crafted a rich story that I could easily follow even without knowing her Demonica world. Hands down, the best part of this book is Ione's interaction between Demonica characters (mostly Suzanne) and Taggart/Top characters from Blake's world. She nailed Ian Taggart's dialog and she set up a couple of scenes in Sean Taggart's restaurant,...
