Incarnate: A Dark Paranormal Romance (The Marked Saga Book 5)

by Bianca Scardoni

About this book

Jemma Blackburn thought she had buried her past along with the boy she loved. After sacrificing everything to banish Lucifer, she attempts to outrun her destiny as a Slayer by seeking the normalcy of high school. But in the supernatural pressure cooker of Hollow Hills, graduation is the least of her worries. When the barrier between life and death thins, Jemma discovers that the dead do not always stay buried, and an ancient, encroaching evil makes the Devil himself look like a mere prelude.

This fifth installment of The Marked Saga marks a pulse-pounding shift into season two, blending the high-stakes intensity of hell-realms with the familiar, atmospheric tension of academy life. As Jemma struggles to suppress her trauma and master her powers, the boundaries between hunter and prey blur. You will find yourself trapped in a relentless cycle of jaw-dropping twists where every ally is a potential threat and every secret holds a lethal weight.

If you crave a dark paranormal romance that reads like a high-octane cinematic experience, this is your next obsession. Jemma’s journey is messy, impulsive, and deeply human, proving that saving the world is rarely as simple as it looks on paper. Prepare to be hooked.

I love this series!!!

If I could give this series more then 5 stars I would. From the very first book of the Marked Saga to the 5th installment is just a story that reads in your mind like a movie. You fall in love with each character and they feel like these people are real people not fictional characters in a book. If you follow her fan discussion page on Facebook then you know what I mean. We talk about these character as if we know them. The story line gets better and better as the story grows. This series...

The heart wants what it wants.....

Incarnate was an excellent book. I feel so sorry for Jemma that at a young age she has the fate of the world on her shoulders. Not to mention being slapped in the face with Trace's return from the dead. The sad part is he doesn't remember her which is a knife to the heart but she shut her feelings down with what happened before summer so in order to protect him she decides to keep her distance. Then Jemma gets slapped with Dominic's sire coming to town. He says he can get answers from her about...

I enjoy this series ... Almost

So far this has been a very good series to read and has kept me engaged, but Jemma is getting on my nerves. She is stuck in this cycle of burying everything inside and acting before thinking. I'm amazed she has any friends at all. There's an opportunity here for some really strong story development but instead it's the same cycle. All the books in the series seems to have been rushed to market because the editing is deplorable. From misspelled words to missing words to random plot lines wedged...

I’m speechless!

Omg omg omg! The cliffhanger in each book of this series just keeps getting better and worse at the same time! Gah! I am loving how this story is progressing and am becoming so invested in these characters! As much as I would have like to get more information regarding the events that took place during the summer, I kinda like just the little snippets to go off that let my imagination create the story for me. Jemma is really developing and coming into her own, while also dealing with heavy...

WOW!!

I started reading book one about 2weeks ago and today I have finished reading book 5. It took me only 2weeks to read all the books I just wanted to know what happens w/ Jemma, Trace & Dominic. What a journey so happy Trace is back. I’m hoping that Dominic’s emotions are able to turn back on, something could happen that he remembers how he felt for Jemma. Jemma is staring to be very hard core in battle and in life, I like that she is not so week now and that she keeps getting stronger. Love how...
