Crown Me Dead: A Dark Fantasy Romance (Heartstring Duet)
Liv Zander
by Rawnie Sabor
Healing is a jagged, non-linear path, and for Evie, the shadows of her past are proving harder to outrun than the monsters she once faced. While life in the Court of Chains finally seems stable and her romance with Natalya is flourishing, the scars from her previous torment continue to haunt her. As old friends vanish into thin air and nightmares bleed into her waking hours, Evie must confront the fragments of herself she thought were lost to the darkness forever.
This steamy sapphic succubus romance dives deep into the complexities of trauma and the transformative power of connection. Building on the intoxicating allure of the demon underworld, the story masterfully weaves together high-stakes paranormal tension with an intimate look at grief. Fans of the Court of Chains series will find this novella to be an essential, heart-wrenching stop on the journey toward wholeness.
Whether you are craving a quick, pulse-pounding paranormal fix or a dedicated reader of the series, this installment offers a raw, emotionally resonant experience. It is a testament to the fact that while the journey toward recovery is terrifying, no one has to walk through the fire alone. Step back into the shadows and discover if love is enough to mend a broken soul.

Absolutely loved this continuation of Evie and Natalya’s story. Grief and healing are complicated, the path forward is hard and scary, and I can’t wait for more stories about the two of them making it through together. Love this series. )

Loved getting to have another look at Nat and Evie's story. It was so refreshing to have a story where meeting their love didn't just magically solve all the trauma. Evie still struggles with the things that happened to her and I think that makes this story so much more genuine. )

Another great installation of the series. Healing takes time and when surrounded by people that care and understanding, we find ourselves stronger than ever. )
