This was a wonderful little book! I love the blood, sex, and gore. M.J. is one of my favorite dark fantasy romance authors and all her books are awesome!! This was a wildly good time and I enjoyed it thoroughly! Wouldn't mind having a small series for this one tho. )

This may have been a fast-paced, gore infested revenge bath, but it was also a roller-coaster of spicy unhinged chaos. This is definitely perfect for the Halloween twisted lovers, but it is packed with triggers and body parts, so be aware of your mindset before jumping into this doozy. I started out reading The Last Witch and Their Bloodrite series, beautiful and traumatic all at once. Only the best books can tear you apart and stitch you back together along with the MC. While this is a shorter novel, it still takes you for one hell of a ride. The characters, MC development and whitty banter remind me why I love dark romance. This was new level of dark that I ate right up along with the MC. Favorite author hands down and this book keeps that feeling going. )
