such a good book

Edit: only disappointed that the author has no way to follow them to anticipate the next book release since it ended on a cliff hanger im assuming there will be a book 2. I absolutely love the childhood friends loyal and dedicated to their friendship despite the circumstances. There is no spice at all. But it had me invested the whole time. I flew through this book in a day. Absolutely loved every bit. Can’t wait for book 2 )

I really enjoyed this story! This one is fast paced and action packed. From the very beginning there is emotion and drama. The two main characters, Layla and Costi, are best friends, maybe more as the story moves along and I loved the tension between the two. This was such a fun book to read! It's an exciting and fast-paced read that blends magic, romance, and unexpected twists.
