Sloan Trent and Jane Everett have everything they ever wanted. As members of the elite Krewe of Hunters, they have faced down countless supernatural threats together, but their upcoming wedding at a breathtaking medieval castle on the New England coast is meant to be their happy ending. Transported across the ocean brick by brick, the ancient stone walls hold more than just history; they harbor secrets that refuse to stay buried.
The festivities turn chilling when their officiant is found dead just hours before the vows are exchanged. What should be a celebration of love quickly descends into a desperate race against time. Caught in a haunting dance between the living and the dead, Sloan and Jane must unravel the mystery of the priest’s demise before they become the next victims of an ancient, vengeful spirit.
This gripping addition to the Krewe of Hunters legacy is a masterclass in paranormal suspense. Blending dark romance with a chilling historical mystery, Heather Graham delivers a story where ghosts are as dangerous as the living. If you are looking for your next gothic-infused escape, this haunted romance will keep you turning pages long into the night, proving that even at the altar, death is never far behind.

Jane and Sloan are members of the Krewe of Hunters. They decide to marry in a beautiful castle that was brought from Europe piece by piece. The minister falls down the stairs and breaks his neck and he isn’t the first or last to die on the steps! They say brides don’t live to marry here! Very interesting story with lots of characters that you don’t figure out who is the killer! Another great one by Heather! )

A very enjoyable short story. Imagine bringing stone by stone, the making of a whole castle. I wonder if it has been done in real life. Fun to see, wouldn’t it. )
