Halloween in Pleasant Valley is usually quiet, but for private investigator Jerry Finney, the holiday is about to turn upside down. A grounded detective who relies strictly on hard evidence, Finn finds his world view shattered when he is forced to partner with Zia, the unconventional psychic and white witch working right down the hall. When their offices are ransacked by an otherworldly intruder, this mismatched pair must set aside their skepticism and sparks to solve a ghostly murder.
This witty urban fantasy novella masterfully blends high-stakes mystery with steamy, slow-burn tension. As the ultimate enemies-to-lovers story, the chemistry between the rigid, no-nonsense detective and the free-spirited mystic is electric. Whether they are navigating a stakeout, dodging zombies, or sharing chocolate cupcakes, the friction between their opposing worlds creates a delightful dynamic that keeps the pages turning.
If you are craving a paranormal romance that perfectly balances spooky atmosphere with heart-melting romance, this is your next must-read. Jennie Marts delivers a fun, fast-paced tale that proves sometimes the most unexpected connections are the most magical. Dive into the charming world of the Page Turners and discover why love is the ultimate Halloween treat.

What a great book! I read all of the books in the Page Turners' Series and in order beginning with Saturday. This was my favorite. I enjoyed every book in her series and couldn't wait to start the next book. I loved how quickly we move into the story and experience the wonderful humor and strong bonds shared by a great group of quirky characters. The Halloween magic that spices the story makes it a joy to read, yet uses a light touch that is believable and engaging. The hero's gentle skepticism...

I am attending an author event in a few months and this author, Jennie Marts will be there. I had not read anything she wrote previously and want to, before I had the opportunity to meet her. I enjoyed the author's writing style, wit and plot very much. This was a fun novella. I was able to become fully involved in the story, even though this novella is #3.6 (after the third book in the series). I very much want to read more from this author. ) One person found this helpful

I am a huge fan of Jennie Marts’ Page Turner series and was so excited to read a new story with my favorite characters. I loved the way Marts introduced new characters and a fun new Halloween story line, but still had my favorites show up in the story. Finn is the tough private eye with a heart of gold and totally swoon-worthy. I loved the way he fell for Zia and opened his heart to something new. Laughing out loud and a few good goose-bump moments make this a great read! I love romantic...

Dead bodies, white witches, and things that go bump in the night - this book is the perfect read leading up to All Hallows' Eve! I'm a fan of Jennie Marts' Page Turners series, so it was fun to get this bonus holiday-themed novella from her. No-nonsense detective Jerry Finney aka Finn is promoted from supporting character to lead in this story, and I enjoyed learning more about him. It's definitely a case of opposites attracting when he has to team up with psychic Zia to figure out who (or...
