Navy SEAL Alan Fraser returns home for the holidays at a crossroads, weary from the shadows of combat and questioning if he has anything left to anchor him to civilian life. Burdened by the loss of his brothers in arms, he seeks solace in the familiar melodies of a local band, only to find himself captivated by Eileen Murphy, a lead singer struggling to find her voice after the tragic death of her best friend.
This emotionally resonant paranormal romance masterfully blends the grief of the living with the gentle influence of the beyond. As Alan and Eileen navigate their shared sorrow, they are guided by spectral forces seeking to mend their fractured hearts. The story leans into the enchanting tropes of angelic intervention and second chances, proving that even in the deepest darkness, a connection forged in spirit can light the way forward.
Bells Will Be Ringing is a poignant Christmas fable that explores the healing power of love and the thin veil between worlds. This was really a sweet read! The idea of our own personal guardian angels watching over us, helping us through this journey we call life is a great one. The only part I missed was Alan doing more “thinking” of exactly what he planned to do after the holidays. ) 2 people found this helpful
