Black Hill Farm (Book Two): A Psychological Thriller with a Twist

by Tim O'Rourke

About this book

The truth is rarely as simple as a confession. After Ben McCloud admitted to the four gruesome murders at Black Hill Farm, the world thought the nightmare was over. But Detective Chief Inspector John Walker only scratched the surface of the darkness lurking on that property. Now, the narrative shifts, leaving the legal records behind to finally uncover the perspective of Andy.

This gripping conclusion to the Black Hill Farm saga masterfully blends the chilling atmosphere of a ghost story with the high-stakes intensity of a psychological thriller. As the veil between the living and the dead grows thin, the story descends into a dark romance that is as haunting as it is obsessive. It is a masterful exploration of how trauma and supernatural forces collide, forcing readers to question everything they thought they knew about the original tragedy.

If you are a fan of urban fantasy that refuses to play by the rules, this is the haunting journey you have been waiting for. Prepare to lose track of time as the final, shocking twists unravel. Just be warned: once you step back onto the grounds of Black Hill Farm, you may never truly leave.

Don't leave the station without me...

March 20, 2013

Tim O'Rourke has done it again, made me lose track of time, made me miss my bus-stop and be late for work... not actually late since I always calculate things to arrive 15 minutes early but almost just on time. Tim O'Rourke has an amazing ability to write suspense and mystery, the man can grab you from inside the book and pull you into it as if he were an arm pulling you into a hole in the wall, pulling you through a doorway to a different, pushed, twisted world where everything and anything...

Amazing Sequel to Black Hill Farm!

May 25, 2011

This sequel to Black Hill Farm is just as amazing as Black Hill Farm itself! I was reeling at the end of the first book, and here I am reeling again at the conclusion of the second and final novel in this series. WOW. O'Rourke is a superb writer and I loved having Andy's viewpoint as it put a lot of information from Black Hill Farm into perspective. The first half of the novel explains Andy's life, thoughts, and feelings prior to Ben moving to her home, revealing events that help explain Andy's...

Awesome follow up to BHF (book one)

May 19, 2011

First...please please please make sure you read Black Hill Farm first (with the red cover). Nothing in this story will make any sense to you if you don't. Second...WOW! I had been waiting \"patiently\" for this one to come out for the last few weeks, after I had finished BHF and it was worth every second. It took me less than 24 hours to finish it as I couldn't put it down. I own a Nook but have the Kindle app on my phone and computer so I could read BHF (it is only available for Kindle) so...

5 Who Dunnit ? Stars!!!!

February 29, 2012

Another captivating read from Tim O'Rourke. There are twists and turns at every corner. We are mainly on a journey with Andy, her version of events at Black Hill Farm. I felt like I was looking through her eyes the whole time, I could really feel her emotions. John Walker has got himself in a bit of a pickle and he needs to show his innocence. He is now in the interviewee's chair, a suspect. How things have changed. Tim has written quite a brilliant mini series here, one worthy of publishing....

Great ending to an amazing story.

This story is told from Andy's point of view. The beauty of having it from her point of view is you really learn why Andy did what she did. Like on my Black Hill Farm review, I will not go into detail, so I don't ruin the story. But I will say this book is written as well, or even better than the last book in the series. I read this book in one sitting and sat for a good thirty minutes after digesting what happened. If you read the first one you have an obligation to read this one! It completes...
