Life has finally settled into a domestic rhythm for Mary O'Reilly and Bradley following their honeymoon, but peace is a fleeting commodity for a psychic investigator. While the couple navigates the complex, often bumpy reality of blending their family and adjusting to the needs of young Clarissa, a chilling threat emerges from the shadows of their small town. The series continues to excel at balancing heart-wrenching emotional growth with high-stakes supernatural suspense.
The narrative takes a dark turn when Courtney finds herself trapped in a nightmare scenario. Relying on the forced-proximity trope, the story masterfully ratchets up the tension as she is lured into a car by a familiar face, only to realize too late that she is locked in with a predator. As the storm rolls in, the isolation becomes absolute, transforming a simple ride home into a claustrophobic fight for survival that tests the limits of fear and resolve.
For readers who cherish atmospheric ghost stories, this eleventh installment is a must-read. It masterfully weaves together the warmth of a growing family with the chilling uncertainty of the paranormal. You will find yourself deeply invested in these characters who feel more like old friends with every turn of the page.

Again another great work by Terri in her series about Mary and Bradley. However, this one is more Clarissa, and the adjustment a child makes to having a world turned upside down and having a step-parent suddenly there. Having lived the step-parent thing, I can say that Terri got it spot on. As I had mentioned to the author I was confused because I thought Mary and Bradley's story was done and we were moving on to Sean, but I have to state this story was needed as Clarissa's story needed to play...

As a reader I worry that a series will disappoint me as it continues. This book delivers. The story picks up upon the return of Mary & Bradley from their honeymoon. Family life is a bit bumpy because Clarrissa does have a personality change in this book and that is expected given how much she has gone through. She accepted the change in dynamics very easily in earlier books but now we see the inner battle and she becomes obstinate. Mary understands this and is very patient with her. Bradley...

It's a great little series and this instalment continues to let us get to know the characters even more. At this point they all feel like members if my family. There's love, fear, humour, emotional struggles and a nice dash of ghost. If you want a book to challenge your thinking pop into something else. If you want to relax and get lost in a story for a little while, jump on in. I liked it and will buy any future reads from the author )

This is review is for all the Mary O'reily paranormal Mysteries by Terri Reid. There is 11 books so, far of which I have read all starting with book one and finally to the last one, book 11. I have laughed, cried but mostly I have enjoyed each book. In the first book we meet Mary O'reily an investigator who not only is smart as she is beautiful but, she can also speak to ghosts who are her clients. She helps them move on to a place where they need to be. Some people believe her others think...

I've read a lot of negative reviews about this book, but I loved it. Terri Reid still sucks her readers in, and makes us see a different side of the \"perfect family\" Mary has become a part of. There are bounds to be some bumps in the road after all the difficulties they've been through, and so this book is appropriately named. In this book Clarissa seems to be facing all her worst fears that any child being through all these life changing tragedies would probably have. More than anything she...
