Eldrith Manor

by Terri Reid
A routine trip to the supply closet turns into a chilling encounter for Mandy, a novice nurse at Freeport Hospital. When she steps off the elevator onto a supposedly empty floor, she discovers she is not as alone as she thought. A small, braided girl in a hospital gown stands hauntingly by the nurses station, signaling the start of a mystery that reaches far beyond the physical world.
As a fan-favorite entry in the long-running Mary O’Reilly series, this paranormal mystery masterfully balances ghostly encounters with the grounded, human elements that readers have come to love. The story relies on the tension of forced proximity, trapping characters in the unsettling confines of a hospital where the veil between the living and the dead is dangerously thin. Terri Reid excels at weaving suspense, ensuring that every shadow holds a story and every spirit has a purpose.
Whether you are a longtime follower of Mary’s journey or a newcomer seeking a gripping supernatural read, this installment delivers the perfect blend of emotional resonance and spine-tingling intrigue. With well-fleshed-out characters and a plot that demands to be read in one sitting, this is the atmospheric ghost story you have been waiting for to haunt your bookshelf.

This series kept me reading for a full 5 days. It was exciting and well plotted. The characters were well fleshed out and believable and the continuity of the story was very well thought out. )

I have just loved this series! I highly recommend it, but just be prepared that once you start, you can't put them down. I thought this was going to be the end, and this book did a nice job of wrapping up everything and still giving us a great story, while leaving it open for the possibility of more. I was very delighted to find out that everyone is back in the Finder's Mansion books with Maybelle and have already finished the first 2 and am looking forward to any more coming out. ) 2 people...
