For the first time in the pulse-pounding Experiment in Terror series, the narrative shifts entirely into the mind of Dex Foray. Fans of the paranormal romance genre will be captivated by this intimate look at the man behind the camera, as Dex grapples with the most terrifying challenge of his life: committing his heart to Perry Palomino while keeping their ghost-hunting show from collapsing.
The tension reaches a boiling point in the sweltering heat of New Orleans. As the duo investigates a sinister voodoo sect, they are forced to integrate the enigmatic Maximus Jacobs into their inner circle. This new dynamic introduces a dangerous love triangle trope that threatens the fragile bond Dex and Perry have fought so hard to build. With demons and vengeful spirits lurking in the shadows, the stakes have never been higher for their professional partnership or their future together.
This installment is a raw, emotional, and undeniably sexy deep dive into a fan-favorite character. Readers who crave high-stakes supernatural suspense mixed with intense, character-driven romance will find this to be the most gripping entry yet. Prepare for a nerve-wracking journey where the monsters are real, but the true danger lies in an unprotected heart.

5+++ Stars -spoiler free review I took my sweet time reading Come Alive and I can honestly say Karina rocked this book; it's by far my fav book of her EIT series!! Writing the whole book in Dex's POV was genius and made me do a happy dance- I just love Dex and I liked the change.Perry's POVs are great but Dex's was refreshing. I've read plenty of male POVs in other books but Karina, man, she nails a male POV.I secretly think she was in her previous life a dude cause her dialogues are THAT GOOD...

I was looking forward to spending whole book in Dex's pervy sarcastic mind and I have to admit that Come Alive surpassed my expectations. His thinking is extremely entertaining and without a doubt I can say that Dex is the best and my all time favourite book character in the whole world! Together with exciting, nerve wracking and undownputtable storyline, Karina Halle created another perfection. Come Alive is my new favourite book in this superb series! Come Alive is a mind-blowing story....

4.5 stars I'm still reeling from finishing off this book in a little over 3 hours. It's got me worn out, emotionally and mentally. But yes, it's 100% from Dex's POV, which is awesome. But the WHY of that becomes more than obvious 2/3 of the way through the book. Because Dex learns something that could irrevocably break him and Perry apart forever. Or will it? What Dex learns explains so much... and yet it leaves so many doors open. What starts out with joy turns to bittersweet in the city of...

{Review} Come Alive by Karina Halle Goodreads Description: It's one thing to bring the woman you love back into your life. It's another to try and keep her there. For Dex Foray, convincing Perry Palomino to open herself to their burgeoning relationship has been more challenging than hunting ghosts, battling demons and stalking Sasquatch combined. Add in the fact that the only way they can keep their Experiment in Terror show running is to take on a third partner in the form of...

When I read an EIT book, I am guaranteed a few things. I know I'm going to laugh loud and often, and that I'll end up highlighting and bookmarking at least half the book (usually more). I expect to be freaked out, creeped out, turned on, and in general, have the emotional crap kicked out of me. And I know that at some point, I will end up cursing Karina Halle's name and screaming something incoherent like, \"NOOOOOOOO! WHAT....HOW....GAHHHHH, I CAN'T EVEN!!!!!!\" I did all of that, and more,...
