Eldrith Manor

by Mickee Madden
A fortuitous snowstorm and a wreckage-strewn road force American transplant Laura Bennett and her three spirited nephews to seek refuge in the sprawling, enigmatic Baird House. Alongside the brooding Roan Ingliss, Laura finds herself thrust into a sanctuary that is far from empty. Within these walls, the lively spirits of Lachlan Baird and Beth Staples wait, their spectral presence offering both a haunting welcome and a chilling warning.
This atmospheric paranormal romance masterfully weaves two distinct timelines into a seamless narrative. As Laura and Roan navigate their own frazzled lives and burgeoning connection, they become unwilling participants in a century-old feud. The deep-seated animosity between Lachlan and the Ingliss clan begins to bleed into the present, threatening to unravel the fragile peace found under the mansion’s roof.
At its heart, this story is a poignant exploration of found-family and the weight of history. As a deadly secret surfaces, the living and the dead must confront the ghosts of their pasts to secure a future. Whether you are a fan of historical intrigue or supernatural heart-tugging, this captivating tale proves that love is the only force strong enough to unshackle those trapped by time.

The author tells the story of two frazzled people with many problems coming together well while concluding the story of Beth and Lachlan. This is a stand-alone story, but I got more interest from it after reading Everlastin' first. )
