The Experiment in Terror show is finally gaining traction, but for amateur ghost hunters Perry Palomino and Dex Foray, the cost of fame is becoming lethal. Their latest assignment leads them to the fog-shrouded, desolate shores of D’Arcy Island, a former leper colony where decades of agony and abandonment have left a permanent stain on the land. What begins as a routine investigation into the island’s tragic history quickly descends into a psychological nightmare.
As the isolation of the campground sets in, the line between the living and the dead begins to blur. The restless spirits of the island are not the only threat; the environment itself seems to target the volatile chemistry between Perry and Dex. Pitted against each other in a struggle for survival, the pair must face their own demons before the island consumes their sanity and their relationship entirely.
This chilling installment is a masterclass in haunted-romance, perfectly blending bone-deep terror with the intense, magnetic friction that defines the series. If you crave a paranormal read that delivers both high-stakes adrenaline and a raw, heart-tugging connection between leads, this is the gripping journey you have been waiting for. Prepare to be haunted long after the final page.

Oh my googly woogly! This book was amazing. As you can see, I am finding it hard to speak coherently. I was creeped-out almost the entire time I was reading it...and I say that with nothing but love in my heart. It really didn't help that I do most of my reading late at night when it's dark and everyone else is in bed. Can you just imagine being stranded on a deserted island...a deserted creepy-as-hell island? Karina has wrote before that she is inspired by music as she writes and I was just as...

Dead Sky Morning was my favorite in the series so far. It was action packed, scary, and the characters were a lot better. I finally feel like I enjoy the series and am at the point where I can recommend it to others. Perry wasn’t a character I liked very much. Her self esteem was entirely too low and the way she whined and kind of hated on anyone who had it together really bugged me. And she was immature in the worst way. She lived at home with her parents at 22 and didn’t really have a job...

Dead Sky Morning starts off a couple weeks after Red Fox left off, with Perry back at home, re-evaluating her priorities in life as she approaches her 23rd birthday. Over the past couple months, she has risked her life for an internet show appropriately titled Experiment in Terror. Perry would like to think she sticks with it so far because it's the one thing she has going for her in her life. The one thing she feels she's good at after years of feeling like she was never good enough. But Perry...

~so far, in all of our experiences together, there always was that moment that I could have turned back and I never ever did. Even if it scared me to the core, to my very soul and fiber of my being, I still went forward into the unknown. Some may call that brave. I don’t think I’d call it that. Stubborn beyond repair seemed more fitting.~ I thought maybe, Ms. Halle had set the bar too high with Red Fox-I mean seriously, how do you out-creep skinwalkers, demonic animals and an abundance of...

This is a really good storyline with just enough spooky. It's suspenseful and could be a 5 star rating for me with a bit more work on it. Not too happy with the way the relationship between these two continues to be pushed aside though. It's maddening! And if you're going to charge this much for the kindle editions, you might want to do some proof reading and update them. There were loads of typo's and/or double words in this one and many in the previous ones also; it drove me more than a tad...
