I really do love this quirky little town. Each interaction with the characters gets me laughing and makes me want to check the map to see if I’ll be the one to find it. The characters almost seem like old friends and every couple is endearing and entertaining in their own way. I love the hint of steam and the danger always manages to get my heart thumping. I really enjoy all the characters, I love Petey and his wacky antics, he is riot. I wish that Sigmund and Virginia would have come together sooner, and had a bit more of a relationship but overall I enjoyed it. I love how the story ties in mythological creatures as well as other well known figures into this fun and wacky world. I hope the stories keep coming. )

This is another winner from Mandy Roth. Set in the supernatural only town close to NOLA, it combines themes of romance, good versus evil and southern eccentricity. The characters are relatable, starring a guilt ridden were kraken and his part siren, part witch, part hunter fated mate. The devil presides over the fun, assisted by an almost ghost and senile cannibalistic demon. I highly recommend the series to anyone who enjoys paranormal romance with a guaranteed happy ending. )

I love this series and this author! This book is a fantastic blend of humor, drama, and romance. The paranormal elements are so well done in this world, it makes me want to visit! If you enjoy any of those things you will enjoy this book, I highly recommend it! )
