Eldrith Manor

by Jennifer Masters
After her life implodes under the flash of paparazzi bulbs, food blogger Tamara Lawren seeks refuge in the charming, eerie town of Beaumere, Vermont. She expects a quiet escape, but instead finds herself sharing a historic home with Alex McNeill, a brooding renovator whose grumpy exterior is matched only by his deep-seated trust issues.
This paranormal romcom thrives on the forced-proximity trope, as the pair is trapped together while navigating their fractured pasts. However, they aren't alone. Delilah, a meddlesome ghost with a penchant for matchmaking, is determined to push these two together. Between midnight baking sessions, mysterious historical secrets, and a cat named Perseus who seems to be in on the haunting, the atmosphere is thick with both supernatural chaos and undeniable sparks.
As a classic grumpy-sunshine story, the dynamic between the reserved, wounded Alex and the vibrant, resilient Tamara is pure comfort reading magic. If you are looking for a cozy escape filled with witty banter, lighthearted spectral interference, and a mystery that keeps you turning pages, this delightful blend of history and heart is the perfect addition to your shelf. Prepare to be charmed by the most meddling ghost in Vermont.

Then throw in an old murder mystery, what could go wrong. Laughed out loud at times, this book is a must read. Will be reading more books from this author. )

This was a fantastic mystery with a sweet romance thrown in on the side! Alex, MMC and renovator extraordinaire, was grumpy, blunt, and sweet at the the core. He had just been hurt so he closed himself off. He was no match for our FMC, Tamara, baker extraordinaire, normally sunshiney but her life was kinda in shambles so a tad down! She was guarded and sad but saw beauty in broken things. I loved that about her. This book surrounds a fantastic mystery pertaining to the ghost in the house,...

Loved this story! I’m excited there are more books in this series. Masters did a great job of managing the supernatural elements within a solid love story. I can’t wait to jump into the next book! )
