New York transplant Sarah Hamilton thought moving to the heart of the Louisiana bayou would be a fresh start, but her historic Victorian home holds secrets far deeper than the swamp water surrounding it. As she struggles to navigate the enigmatic Cajun culture, a sinister shadow begins to stalk her. Is this mysterious stranger a pawn of her treacherous ex-husband, or is he hunting for the rumored treasure buried within the estate’s crumbling walls?
This gripping sequel blends chilling paranormal suspense with a poignant second-chance romance. While the house hides restless spirits and the dark enigma of a locked hall closet, Sarah finds a rare anchor in Jessie, the ruggedly handsome man living across the bayou. Their simmering connection provides a glimmer of hope amidst the cloak-and-dagger danger that threatens to consume her.
Fans of haunting urban fantasy will be captivated by the atmospheric tension and the unexpected twists that define this series. As the secrets of the past collide with the perils of the present, Sarah must fight to survive the mysteries of her new home. With the truth finally within reach, the question remains: who will be left standing when the final ghost is laid to rest?

I loved these books. Couldn’t put it down. There were parts you want to cry, and hope not true. But the ending was everything I could have wanted. Being from Louisiana, iberia parish it was like reading letters from someone you know. So wish it was a series. You cry, you laugh. Great read. )

I love the story and read both one and two, having to wait for the second half of the story was brutal and the twists and turns of the story made it a true mystery romance. I can hardly wait for the next book by this author, she keeps your attention focused on the story. )

You have to get book 1, “Louisiana Bound” to follow the suspense of what happens next to Sarah and Jessie and the old house. “Louisiana Bound II” was just as much a page turner. Love, suspense, murder and finding inner strength to persevere. I must read. )
