Love Everlastin': Book 3

by Mickee Madden

About this book

Baird House is far more than a crumbling mansion; it is a sanctuary for the fractured souls who have nowhere else to turn. When Winston Connery, a psychic detective burdened by the heavy toll of his gifts, arrives on a freezing winter night intending to end his suffering, he expects only the silence of the grave. Instead, he finds himself drawn into the orbit of Deliah, a powerful woman from an ancient magical clan who refuses to let his light go out.

This third installment in the series masterfully weaves together the haunting atmosphere of a ghost story with the high-stakes wonder of urban fantasy. As Winston and Deliah struggle against their own internal demons, they find an unexpected anchor in the found-family of Baird House. Their journey is a testament to the idea that love is the most potent magic, capable of bridging the gap between the living and the dead.

While the narrative expands into the ethereal realms of faerie lore, it remains rooted in the deep emotional connection between its leads. Perfect for readers who crave paranormal romance with a historical touch, this story explores how two willful, broken spirits can forge a single, unbreakable destiny amidst the shadows of the supernatural.

Loved the story line and couldn't put it down. )

This just adds to the Romance and magic of the series

I loved this book. It speaks of the barriers that these two over come and what real magic is. So what if there are faeries involved now, it just adds to the magic and mystery of what she might throw in next. This book and the two before it and one after it great and I hope to read more of these two and the other wonderful couples in the series. ) 2 people found this helpful

Becoming more and more far-fetched

July 6, 1999

Having read the first two in this series, I wanted to read this one also, but was somewhat disappointed. This book fringes on fantasy; fairies no less. I want a good ghost story and thought I was getting just that. As others have stated, all answers are not given by its ending, leaving the reader guessing and wondering what the book's purpose was; to whet the appetite for \"Hope Everlastin\"? For me it makes me wonder if I want to read the fourth installment. The first two were better. ) 3...

Beware, this book has no end!!

June 15, 1998

It was a good book, strong characters. It's the third in a series, with the main characters from the preceeding books, but I suggest you reread them to figure out where the new hero fits in. The only problem was all of the loose ends at the end, the author is going to write another book and tie them up then, but that'll be in another year. If you liked the first two books you should enjoy this one, just remeber there isn't an ending! )
