The war against the Indigo Court has reached a fever pitch, and for Wind Witch Cicely, the fantasy of a peaceful future is shattered by a brutal abduction. While she and her cousin Rhiannon prepare to ascend as the Fae Queens of Summer and Winter, their enemies are far from defeated. The renegade vampires Geoffrey and Leo have unleashed the Blood Oracle, a terrifying force that threatens to consume the town of New Forest and everything Cicely holds dear.
This gripping installment in the series masterfully blends chilling ghost-story elements with the high stakes of paranormal royalty. As the shadow of the Indigo Court looms, the tension between Cicely and her brooding, dangerous allies intensifies, leaning into the dark romance and enemies-to-lovers dynamics that fans crave. The line between savior and monster blurs as alliances are tested in the heat of supernatural warfare.
If you are looking for an addictive urban fantasy filled with ancient magic, shifting loyalties, and visceral battles, this is your next obsession. With the stakes higher than ever and the enemy lurking in the dark, Cicely must fight to reclaim her cousin before her world crumbles to dust. Prepare for a relentless, pulse-pounding journey where survival is never guaranteed.

It would be best to read Books 1 - 3 first; Book 4 continues immediately after Book 3. After routing Myst and most of her Shadow Hunters, Cicely and Rhiannon feel a little safer. But it's an illusion: Geoffrey and Leo are out for revenge. And worse, they have released Crawl from his prison. Then when they hear Myst is regrouping her Shadow Hunters, they realize things are getting even worse. But tomorrow, at the winter solstice, Cicely and Rhiannon will become the Queen of Winter and Queen of...

Since my Kindle broke this week, I was stuck reading on my iphone. Even though I hate reading on my phone (I feel like I'm constantly flipping pages), I read this entire book on my phone- was even up too late because I was so engrossed in it. Is this a standalone book? Oh no, I don't believe you should read this book if you've never read the first three. I think most people would honestly start it and stop it and never go back. I definitely believe that you need the backstory to have have any...

My main complaint is cost, these books could have been pared down into two volumes. I am four books into this series and I'm done. The first book was free. I have paid $4.99 for the next three, a total of $14.97. There are still two books left in the series, that would be an additional $9.98 for a grand total of $24.95. For the most part I found the story to be okay. . The author 're-hashes so much of what happened in the previous books I found myself skimming a lot. The re-telling could...

This episode of this series was quite beautiful and exciting! I loved reading about how the cousins took their places as Queens as Winter and Summer! I also enjoyed reading about how they were triumphant against their foes, just as I knew they would be! Yasmine Galenorn made the battle so exciting! I can’t wait until they go up against Myst! That battle scene should be epic!! I am enjoying this entire series and can’t wait to go on to next novel! Highly recommend! )
