This is a voluntary review from receiving an advanced reader copy. I went into this one with high hopes. What’s not to love right? Friends to lovers and a haunted mansion as well. I did struggle to finish this one though. The first 2/3s of the book was great. Good pacing. Good character development. Good scene setting. Then, for whatever reason, it fell a little flat. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a complimentary copy. Leo and Ren have been best friends for a couple of years. Leo own a construction company, hates scary stuff.
