Life in Franklin, Tennessee, was supposed to be a quiet fresh start for Erin Bailey, but peace remains elusive when the dead come knocking. Just weeks after surviving a brush with death to solve her benefactor’s murder, Erin finds herself pulled back into the supernatural fray. This time, the spirit of a sweet, elderly neighbor named Timothy is haunting her doorstep, insisting his peaceful passing was actually a cold-blooded crime.
Forced to balance her budding romance with Detective Ryan and the demands of her unconventional team—including her best friend, Susie, and the sharp-tongued, talking cat Peekaboo—Erin must play investigator once again. This charming urban-fantasy mystery blends the cozy atmosphere of a small town with the high stakes of the afterlife. As Erin digs into the secrets of a quiet neighborhood, she realizes that some killers are hiding in plain sight, and the truth might just make her the next target.
Fans of paranormal romance will delight in the banter, the mystical intrigue, and the undeniable chemistry between Erin and her allies. With a ghostly mystery that keeps you guessing and a feline companion who knows far more than he lets on, this pulse-pounding adventure is the perfect escape for anyone who loves their whodunits with a side of magic.

Second book in the series. Just as good as the first. I'll be back for the next story. Well developed story that is easy to follow along with. The characters are well thought out. And yes I love Peekaboo. So many more opporitunities are coming to continue the series. Peekaboo did try to warn Erin. )

I absolutely love the characters in Franklin, Tennessee! I really enjoy the fact that our heroine does not cook or bake, so she has great opportunities to expand her horizons. Please have more stories coming! )
