I loved this book! A paranormal/contemporary romance starring the Grim Reaper, represented by MC Bellamy...a mysterious old soul come to collect the soul of the sassy Blythe. This book is so intriguing. I don't like to give too much away. When I read a story I like to be surprised so I won't talk about the plot. I had no idea what kind of story this would be. But this book gives you a look behind a curtain I've not read about before. The characters are believable and enduring. I truly enjoyed the story. Candace Osmond has a way of writing that you feel you are there with the characters. )

Don't forget the tissues!

A beautifully written contemporary paranormal read depicting a blossoming love between a grim reaper and the daughter of the woman he's destined to reap. Candace Osmond has a really lovely writing style that resonates in each one of her books. It makes me think of gothic romance and the kind of love that will last a lifetime. I think Blythe was my favourite POV character, even if she isn't part of the romance pairing, and Bellamy was one of my favourite kinds of heroes -- the sweet guys who are...

I no longer will fear the grime reaper so long as his name is Bellamy. Rose is the perfect measure of sass and spunk to match any grime reaper. But it takes a stronger woman to take on the grime reaper. Candace has out done herself in this one, she took a character that we have all been raised to fear and mistrust and brought him into a new light. She has done a unique and fabulous job of not only making the grime reaper lovable but creating the only woman that could match him on all levels... )

I’m a big fan of any iteration of a psycho pomp. This sweet story was on-brand for the author with just a hint of time flux and a love that conquers all. The right amount of snark and a sense of urgency added to the sweet thrill of this read. )
