Jon-Luc Boudreaux has spent his career using his supernatural gift to climb the ranks of the FBI, but his ability to see the dead has finally pushed him to the brink. Seeking solace in Paris, he hopes for a clean break from the horrors of his past. Instead, he is thrust into a nightmare: a string of gruesome murders targeting models during Fashion Week. This time, the stakes are personal. Jon-Luc is not just tracking a killer; he is experiencing the murders through the predator's own eyes, a terrifying psychic link that threatens his sanity as much as his life.
Enter Angela Henderson, a driven designer fighting for a second chance in the cutthroat fashion industry. Just as she begins to carve out a new life, she becomes the obsession of a diabolical killer. Caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse, she must rely on a man who sees ghosts to keep her from becoming the next victim.
Blending high-stakes urban fantasy with a slow-burn paranormal romance, this gripping thriller is perfect for readers who love dark mysteries and supernatural suspense. Can Jon-Luc conquer his own haunting visions to save the woman he loves, or will the killer claim his final prize?

This book has all the elements of a great read. The author gives us believable characters, great plots, and a story line that keeps one interested. I love that it's a trilogy. And believe me I am getting the third book today. The only downside to this book is that I stopped cooking, cleaning and other housewifely chores.. lol. I hope Morgan keeps writing for a long time. I use the author's first name because I feel like a neighbor. )

I really enjoyed this book. The author made the characters come to life even though I have to admit I didn't care too much for the main character's love interest. I found her extremely boring. The author made their romance take off way too fast as far as I am concerned. No one falls in love that fast either. The plot was good and I would like to read more of her books. ) 2 people found this helpful

A fast paced thriller that has an absolutely explosive ending! I started reading it (after waiting patiently for it to come out) and could not put it down. Morgan Hannah McDonald has done it again with a story that keeps you guessing all the way through! Loved that it was different, set in Paris with a hot (retired) Louisiana FBI agent! Can't wait for the next book. ) One person found this helpful

I really enjoyed this book. I have read everything Morgan has written so far and I am a big fan of her stories. She always draws the reader into the story by drawing the character's so well you really care what happens to them. I found this book hard to put down. Great job, Morgan! ) 2 people found this helpful

In this second installment in the Spirits series a clairvoyant is seeing the grisly murders of fashion models in Paris. This was a fast paced thriller set in the middle of the fashion capital of the world Paris, France. Jon-Luc Boudreaux (sexy name, oui?) has been clairvoyant all his life. This was not an easy thing for him to live with growing up when he didn’t understand it. After running away from home at an early age he manage to find a man who understood what he was and helped him. Jon-Luc...
